 Hotel Complex "Basen" is located in the center of Sisian (Syunik marz, 217 km South to Yerevan). "Basen" is a suitable place to stop for tourists that wish to see the wonderful sites and ancient monuments of southern Armenia in general, and Sisian and Goris regions, in particular. "Basen" is a complex of 5 two-storey cottages each of which has single and double rooms. |

There is an adjacent restaurant to cottages. Restaurant has an "Armenian" hall decorated in traditional style, and a newly renovated hall with separate rooms for small groups. There is a bar operating within the restaurant. Tourists may taste Armenian wine, brandy, beer, juices and mineral water. Tourists may order dishes from the menu to their preference. Adjacent to the restaurant there is a "tonratun" that operates for big groups of tourists if desired. Tourists may also see the traditional Armenian way of making butter from "matsun" (yogurt without fruit). For big groups dinner may be accompanied by national Armenian live music. |
